The article provides an overview of contemporary research on attitudes towards war among residents different countries. definition the attitude to is given, history and methods (psychological sociological, quantitative, qualitative experimental) study are described, as well relationship with socio-demographic, environmental psychological variables. individual (personality traits, motivation, well-being) socio-psychological (ideological preferences, social beliefs national identity) correlates distinguished. Conclusions limitations prospects for future demonstrated.
